Fourth budget of the second term of Dhami government

The Dhami government of Uttarakhand is going to present the fourth budget of its second term today on Thursday. A budget of about Rs 1 lakh crore is estimated to accelerate the development of the state. To double the GDP of the state, the Dhami government can give a big gift to infrastructure, employment and farmers. Along with this, an attempt will be made to see a glimpse of the assembly elections to be held in 2027 in this budget.

After the victory, it is the turn to give to the voters

The voters of Uttarakhand had brought the BJP government back to power by giving it a bumper majority in the 2022 assembly elections. After this, in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the voters put all the five Lok Sabha seats of the state in the BJP’s bag. In the municipal elections held in January 2025, the BJP also wiped out the opposition Congress. In such a situation, the fourth budget of this term of the Dhami government is considered to give more emphasis to every section of the society, especially the youth and women.

This was the previous budget

Uttarakhand Finance Minister Premchand Aggarwal presented the state budget for the financial year 2024-25 on February 27, 2024. The previous budget of the Dhami government was Rs 89,230 crore. In the previous budget, emphasis was laid on security, infrastructure, green energy, social welfare along with education and sports.
