Police have arrested the accused who demanded Rs 5 lakh each from Ranipur MLA Adesh Chauhan, Rudrapur MLA Shiv Arora and Nainital MLA Sarita Arya by claiming to be Amit Shah’s son Jai Shah. One of the three accused is a resident of Pithoragarh. He was currently living in Delhi.

Accused who demanded money from MLA arrested

In Bahadarabad police station area of ​​​​Haridwar, an unknown person called MLA Adesh Chauhan and demanded money, claiming to be Home Minister Amit Shah’s son. Police registered a case against the unknown on the basis of the complaint and started investigating the matter. Police arrested the main accused Priyanshu Pant (19) after investigating the said mobile numbers, tracking the location and conducting raids in Ghaziabad and Delhi.

The plan was made due to luxury life and financial crunch

Let us tell you that the accused is originally a resident of Pithoragarh, who was currently living in Mayur Vihar, Delhi. According to Priyanshu, due to his luxury life and financial crunch, he had hatched a fraud plan with his friends Uvesh Ahmed and Gauravnath. The accused had also demanded money from Rudrapur MLA Shiv Arora and Nainital MLA Sarita Arya. Both the MLAs had also filed a case in Rudrapur and Nainital police stations.

One youth has already been to jail

According to the police, Gauravnath has already been to jail in Nashik for demanding money from an MLA by posing as an officer of the Prime Minister’s Office. The accused Uvesh Ahmed has been arrested by the Rudrapur police. He will be brought to Haridwar soon. Since this case is related to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Home Ministry, other investigating agencies are also involved in the investigation.
