CDS Anil Chauhan met CM Dhami, defense sector issues were discussed

Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Vidhan Sabha Dehradun on Wednesday. During this, issues related to the defense sector were discussed between the two.

The Chief Minister and CDS discussed various important topics related to security and upcoming programs to be organized by the Army in the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uttarakhand is a military land. The state government is fully committed to giving more opportunities to the youth of the state in the defense sector and to strengthen the security and development of the state.

Programs to be held in Pauri

On the other hand, regarding the meeting of CDS and Chief Minister, Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that it is a matter of great fortune that the country’s first Defense Chief Bipin Rawat was also from Uttarakhand and the second CDS Anil Chauhan is also from Uttarakhand. Giving information about the meeting of CDS with the Chief Minister, the minister said that in the coming month of May, the government is going to organize a big program in the village of CDS Anil Chauhan in Pauri district.

CDS discussed with CM Dhami about the programs

Dhan Singh Rawat said that there was a detailed discussion between the Chief Minister and the CDS regarding the program to be held in the village of CDS Anil Chauhan in the month of May. He said that if we talk about serving the country, then historic steps have been taken for service under the leadership of the Central Modi government and under the leadership of both the CDSs of the country so far. Apart from this, the Uttarakhand government also talked to the service chief about the Vibrant Village run by the central government.
