Barkheda police arrested four interstate counterfeit currency dealers by raiding on the information received during patrolling. They are residents of Shahjahanpur, Bareilly and Badaun. Fake Indian currency and equipment worth Rs 2.90 lakh have been recovered from their possession. After registering the report, the police has started taking action.

SSI Mahendra Singh posted in Barkheda police station was on patrol with the police force on Sunday late evening. On reaching the village Bhainsaha Gwalpur intersection on Bisalpur road, information was received that four persons are standing on a white Apache near the intersection on Bahadurpur Hukumi road from Rapta bridge on Barkheda Nawabganj road. They have a large amount of fake notes. Taking the information seriously, the police reached a hundred meters ahead of Rapta bridge with the police force.

After this, the team went on foot and raided and arrested four accused. The arrested accused revealed their names as Rizwan son of Danne Ansari, resident of village Deeppur in police station Khudaganj area of ​​Shahjahanpur district, Abdul Sattar son of Abdul Gaffar, resident of Mohalla Nazarpur in Tilhar police station area, Khalil Ahmed son of Bahidullah, resident of police station and village Dataganj in Badaun district, and Fariyad son of Iqrar, resident of village Bhagwantapur in police station Faridpur area of ​​Bareilly district.

On searching, fake Indian currency worth Rs 50,000 was recovered from Rizwan, Rs 40,000 from Khalil, Rs 1.60 lakh from Abdul Sattar, and Rs 40,000 from Fariyad, i.e. a total of Rs 2.90 lakh. Printer and other equipment were found in a sack loaded on the bike. Police took the four into custody and interrogated them. Inspector Mahendra Singh has taken action by registering an FIR in the case under sections 178, 179, 180, 181, 111(1) of the Indian Penal Code.
