Uttarakhand: People gathered in the health camp in Tanakpur, 1500 patients benefited, CM’s wife Geeta Dhami had organized the event

A free health camp was organized by a private organization in Tanakpur of the district. In which a large number of patients came to get their health checked. Free medicines were also distributed to the patients after the health checkup. 1500 local people took advantage of the health camp.
It is worth noting that Geeta Dhami, wife of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, organized a huge health camp in Tanakpur through Seva Sankalp Dharini Foundation under a campaign. During this, free medicines, glasses, hearing aids, sticks and wheel chairs were distributed to the patients in the camp. Along with health consultation and various types of tests by specialist doctors of women and children, eye tests, distribution of glasses, diabetes, blood pressure and blood related tests, ECG testing as well as distribution of medicines, treatment of diseases related to these was done by nose, ear and throat specialists.
Mental health problems were also treated by psychiatrists and pulse tests and Ayurvedic medicines were also distributed by Ayush doctors. All these health tests, consultations and treatments were done free of cost. Geeta Dhami expressed her gratitude to all the doctors, the entire team of Seva Sankalp Foundation and the entire public who were providing their services in the camp. After the camp, Geeta Dhami went to the village council Ucholigoth and met the families of the youths who died suddenly in a road accident and consoled them. She also met the family members of journalist Jagdish Tiwari at his home in Karki Farm Tanakpur and consoled him after his sudden death due to heart attack.
