Kewal Khurana is known for being very disciplined, dutiful and excellent administrative ability. IPS Kewal Khurana was looking after the responsibility of the Home Guard department at the IG level. Apart from this, he made his own identity while holding the most important posts in the state.
Kewal Khurana is also known for improving the traffic system in Dehradun. While handling the responsibility as SSP in Dehradun, he had made tireless efforts to bring the traffic system of Dehradun back on track. Apart from this, he has also taken charge of many districts and for the first time in the state, he also got the responsibility as Traffic Director. Uttarakhand Traffic Eye App is currently integrated into Uttarakhand Police App. Due to this app being popular among the public, it is also giving very good results in Uttarakhand Police App. In the year 2022, Kewal Khurana also received the FICCI Smart Policing Award.
