BJP summoned Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal to the state headquarters over the controversial statement in the House during the assembly session. On Sunday, Agarwal reached the party office and put forth his side before state president Mahendra Bhatt. Bhatt advised to exercise restraint on language. He said, he will request the Chief Minister to take legal action against those who spread false propaganda on social media.

Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal reached the BJP state headquarters on Sunday. He gave his clarification on the controversial statement in a closed room before state president Bhatt and state general secretary organization Ajay Kumar. Bhatt advised to exercise restraint on such vocabulary. Which spoils the atmosphere of the state. The kind of atmosphere that has been created in the state is not right.

It was neither said for the mountain nor for the plain

Aggarwal said that his sentiments were not wrong at all. The abusive word was also from before his statement. Which was neither said for the mountain nor for the plain. He is an old party worker. He was born in Uttarakhand. Such an atmosphere was created on social media by some people. Mahendra Bhatt said, Cabinet Minister Agarwal has expressed his views to the party on the whole matter and assured that from now on he will take special care in choosing words. Agarwal is our minister, he is a four-time MLA. He wins with more votes every time.

Bhatt said, now this kind of atmosphere should stop. Today one side is speaking, tomorrow the other side will speak. Some people are spoiling the atmosphere of the state by spreading misinformation on social media. In this regard, we will request the Chief Minister to keep an eye on those posting on social media and take action against those spoiling the atmosphere.

No one has the right to hurt anyone’s sentiments: Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, this state belongs to all of us. We have different zones and places in the state. We will all work together to take the state forward. No one in the state has any right to hurt anyone’s sentiments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said from the land of Baba Kedar that the third decade of this century will belong to Uttarakhand. We all have to move forward together to make this the decade of Uttarakhand.
