UK Board exams begin, more than 2 lakh students will appear for the exam, 1245 exam centres set up across the state

The 10th and 12th board examinations of Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Shiksha Parishad Board (UK Board) have started from today i.e. 21 February. These examinations will run till 11 March. This time Section 163 has been implemented to strengthen the security of the examination centers, as well as strict security arrangements have been made within a radius of 100 meters.

More than 2 lakh children will give the exam

Let us tell you that this year two lakh 23 thousand 387 candidates are appearing in the board examination. Out of these, 1,13,688 students of class 10th and 1,09,699 students of class 12th are registered. All the candidates are reaching the examination centers on time. They have made full preparations for the examination. However, slight tension and curiosity is also being seen in many students regarding the question paper. The exam time has been fixed from 10 am to 1 pm.

1245 examination centers set up across the state

This time a total of 1,245 examination centers have been set up across the state. These include 165 sensitive and 5 highly sensitive centers. Apart from this, 49 single centers and 1,196 mixed centers have been set up. The administration has made strict arrangements to make the examinations free from cheating and transparent.

Transparent examination will be given priority

Board Secretary Vinod Kumar Simalti said that special monitoring will be done to prevent any kind of malpractice during the examination. The main objective of the administration is to ensure transparency and a cheating-free examination, so that all the students get the opportunity to take the examination in a fair environment.
