The Uttarakhand government and the Gurudwara Shri Hemkunt Sahib Management Trust have announced the dates of this year’s pilgrimage. The doors of Hemkund Sahib will be opened for devotees on May 25. The pilgrimage will continue till October 10.

This year the doors of Hemkund Sahib will be opened for devotees on May 25. This decision has been approved in a meeting held on Thursday between Chief Secretary Radha Raturi and Trust President Narendra Singh Bindra. The government and the trust have decided to complete the preparations for the pilgrimage keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the devotees. The pilgrimage to Hemkund Sahib will continue till October 10. Devotees will get five months so that they can visit the holy pilgrimage site.
