During this, various topics related to organization and farmer welfare were discussed with him.’
The meeting is important in terms of farmers
This meeting is considered important because just a day before, the Dhami government of Uttarakhand has passed many important proposals regarding farmers in the cabinet meeting. The minimum support price of sugarcane was declared in the cabinet meeting. The Uttarakhand Cabinet declared the minimum support price of Rs 375 per quintal for the early 375 crop of sugarcane. The support price of normal sugarcane has been declared at Rs 365 per quintal.
Dhami government has made land law
During the budget session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, the government has also passed the land law. The land law is going to have the biggest impact on the farmers. In such a situation, a lot of meaning is being drawn from the meeting of CM Dhami with Rajkumar Chahar. According to the land law passed by the Dhami government from the assembly, an affidavit will be necessary to buy 250 square meters of land for residential use. If people from outside the state want to buy land in Uttarakhand, they will have to give an affidavit and state the purpose. Along with this, outsiders will not be able to take land for farming and gardening in 11 districts of Uttarakhand. However, agricultural districts like Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar have been excluded from this. According to the land law, there will be a fresh discussion on land in the hilly areas.
