Bihar: The issue of transfer of teachers was raised in the House, Education Minister Sunil Kumar said something big

The issue of transfer-posting of teachers in Bihar echoed in the House on Tuesday (04 March). MLA Suryakant Paswan from Bakhri asked when the government will transfer 1.9 lakh teachers? Teachers had applied under special circumstances. By when does the government plan to transfer teachers to their home districts? Education Minister Sunil Kumar answered this.
Sunil Kumar said that we have posted about 40 teachers who were seriously ill, had cancer, at their desired places. More applications have come than the number of 1.9 lakh. In the next two months, after scrutiny, we will definitely transfer those who are willing to go to whichever district.
The software is almost ready
Regarding the desired transfer, Sunil Kumar said that it depends on how many vacancies are there in that school. Therefore, we have asked the teachers to give 10 options for posting. Tell us the district so that we can post accordingly. Its software is almost ready.
MLA Suryakant Paswan again asked that we have said school and you are saying subdivision. We are demanding school, in which school will you do the posting? Because teachers have applied in special circumstances. They are ill. Clear information should be given as to when will you transfer them to the school given to them?
Sunil Kumar replied that as per the policy that has been laid down, we have first transferred the teachers who were ill. Similarly, if husband and wife are also teachers, then posting will be done together as per their wish. Apart from this, we will do the posting in the district that people have asked for, but it also depends on how many vacancies there are. If there are 10 vacancies in a school and 20 people have applied, then it will be for 10 teachers. The transfer of 10 teachers will be done in the second option given by them. We have prepared its software.
