Reshuffle in Dhami cabinet in Uttarakhand is certain, there will be representation from both Kumaon – Garhwal districts

In Uttarakhand, a reshuffle in the Dhami cabinet is considered certain. Its chances are more around Holi. Due to the cabinet reshuffle, some ministers can also be relieved by taking back their departments.
After the Agarwal episode, these discussions of cabinet expansion have gained momentum. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has returned to Dehradun from a two-day visit to Delhi. Sources said that Dhami has almost got the green signal from the high command on the cabinet expansion.
There are already four posts vacant in the cabinet, so the expansion was bound to happen, but the storm that arose in the state due to the controversial statement of the Parliamentary Affairs Minister in the budget session of the Assembly has strengthened the possibilities of reshuffle in the cabinet and the party high command has made a strategy to end this ruckus. According to sources, one or two more ministers may be sacked along with Premchand. On the other hand, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt says that the expansion will happen soon, but who gets a place in the cabinet is the right of Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami only.
Two districts are big contenders
The representation of Haridwar and Nainital districts is considered certain in the new cabinet. In Haridwar, the stature of any one of Madan Kaushik, Adesh Chauhan and Pradeep Batra can increase.
Kaushik has been a minister earlier, while Adesh Chauhan and Pradeep Batra are three-time MLAs. On the other hand, BJP has five out of six MLAs in Nainital district. The names of Kaladhungi MLA Banshidhar Bhagat and Bhimtal MLA Ram Singh Kaida are being discussed.
Then the speaker can be changed
Speaker Ritu Khanduri was also trolled a lot in the Premchand episode. If the high command adjusts her in the cabinet instead of the speaker, then a senior MLA can get the responsibility of the speaker. Among these, Banshidhar Bhagat and Bishan Singh Chuphal are being said to be contenders. MLAs Munna Chauhan, Sahdev Pundir, Vinod Kandhari are also among the contenders.
