The Indian cricket team won the Champions Trophy title for the third time on Sunday, which was celebrated across the country. However, a case of violence has also come to light during the celebration of India’s victory in the Champions Trophy in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that after a dispute between two groups, people were pelted with stones and vehicles and shops were set on fire.

The case is of Mhow in Indore. It is being told that the Indian cricket team’s victory in the Champions Trophy was being celebrated on Sunday night. One side alleges that some Namazis were coming out of the mosque after offering Namaz. During this time, some mischievous element threw a firecracker at them, due to which the dispute escalated. They allege that the stone pelting was done first by the Hindu side.

Local resident Mohammad Javed told that a procession was being taken out during the celebration. During this, someone threw a cotton bomb towards the Namazis, due to which the matter escalated.

He said that I do not understand why the procession was taken out from here and whether they had permission to take out the procession or not. As far as stone pelting is concerned, this incident happened in the presence of police. People of the other side started pelting stones in front of the police.

Meanwhile, Mhow MLA Usha Thakur reached the spot and took stock of the situation. While talking to the media, she said that I see the incident of Mhow as an example of anti-nationalism. The victory of the Indian cricket team was being celebrated, when stones were pelted from the settlements of the minority community. During this, the route was also deliberately diverted. I think it was a well-planned conspiracy. Vehicles were set on fire and CCTV was also destroyed.

She said, “The incident of Mhow is anti-national, because suddenly so many stones were collected there and after this stone pelting was also done. The police has taken strict action in this matter and about 13 people have also been arrested. I have also spoken to the Chief Minister, he has assured that people with anti-national mentality will not be tolerated.”

The police officer told the media that a procession was taken out to celebrate the victory of the Indian cricket team. During this, there was a dispute between the two parties and then some unruly elements pelted stones. Also, arson was also done. Investigation is being done in this matter and the police is registering an FIR.

Indore Collector Ashish Singh said that peace has been established in Mhow and people are being appealed. Along with this, strict action will be taken against the culprits involved in this incident.

He said that information has been received about four people being injured. It has been learned that some bike shops have been burnt. Apart from this, investigation is going on in the matter. At present, the situation in Mhow area of ​​​​Indore is normal. Also, many forces have been deployed in Mhow and investigation is being done in this matter.
