Uttarakhand police took a big action in UP, 300 policemen including several IPS officers raided; 25 people were arrested

Udham Singh Nagar Police broke the back of smugglers and suppliers by striking in Bareilly, the stronghold of drug supply in Uttarakhand. 300 policemen raided Agras and Fatehganj West in Bareilly and arrested 25 drug suppliers and smugglers.

This action created a stir among the drug smugglers. At present, the police team is interrogating the suppliers and smugglers who were caught. Where the names of many more smugglers have come to light. It is believed that soon the police can arrest them too.

Uttarakhand Police’s campaign against drug dealers continues

Uttarakhand Police is continuously taking action against drug dealers to fulfill the goal of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Drug Free Devbhoomi by the year 2025. Under this, Udham Singh Nagar Police is also arresting drug smugglers every day. Many smugglers have been arrested by the police after shooting them in the legs during the encounter.

During interrogation of the smugglers, it was found that they bring smack, heroin, opium, doda, narcotic injections and other narcotics from suppliers in Bareilly. After which the police started identifying the suppliers and smugglers of Bareilly.

Police officers left with 300 policemen

After identification on Sunday night, under the leadership of SSP Manikant Mishra, SP Crime Niharika Tomar, SP City Uttam Singh Negi, SP Kashipur Abhay Singh along with 300 police officers and employees from across the district left for Bareilly in private and government vehicles to take action against drug smugglers and suppliers.

Where after 2 o’clock late night, with the help of Bareilly Police, the police raided Agras and Fatehganj West of Bareilly and other nearby places in a planned manner. During this, police teams arrested 25 suppliers and smugglers from different places and brought them to Rudrapur on Monday morning.

SSP Manikant Mishra said that the police is interrogating the smugglers who have been caught. In the interrogation so far, names of many smugglers from Bareilly as well as different districts of Uttarakhand have come to light. After which the police will take action against them too.
