Bridge collapsed on Kedarnath Highway, traffic disrupted, passengers facing problems

There are reports of the collapse of the approach road of Jawadi bypass bridge on Kedarnath Highway from both ends. Due to which the administration has closed the traffic as a precaution.

This bridge is the main route of traffic for Tilwara, Agastyamuni, Ukhimath, Guptkashi area including Kedarghati. People commuting are facing difficulties since the road has been damaged.

Repair work continues

The administration says that the repair work of the bridge is still going on. Soon the road will be restored for traffic. Rudraprayag Police has appealed to the local people to use alternative routes. Also inform the police in any emergency situation.
