Uttarakhand: Attempt to rape a girl, two including BJP leader accused of destroying evidence

A case of rape of a girl has come to light from Tehri. The girl has accused two friends of the main accused of destroying evidence. One of whom is said to be a BJP leader. The police have arrested the main accused. While both the accused who destroyed the evidence are out of police custody.

Attempt to rape a girl
The case is of March 6. According to the police, the victim has given a complaint about the case three days ago. The victim alleged that on the evening of March 6, a young man named Subhash Panwar reached her house. The accused broke the latch of her door and tried to rape her.

Murderous attack on the victim
When the victim resisted, Subhash attacked her head with a sharp weapon. She has got 12 stitches on her head in the attack. Seeing the girl’s condition serious, the doctors referred her to a higher center. After regaining consciousness, the victim gave a complaint to the police about the case. The victim has accused BJP leader Parambir Panwar and Buddhi Panwar of destroying evidence.

Police arrested the main accused
The police has arrested the main accused Subhash Panwar. While two others are absconding. Regarding the case, SSP Ayush Aggarwal says that the victim had given a complaint about the case. On the basis of which a case has been registered against three people. Subhash has been arrested from Ghansali and sent to jail.
