Uttarakhand: Local youth should get priority in postal department jobs, Bhatt raised the issue in Rajya Sabha

MP and BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt raised the issue of giving priority to local youth in the jobs of the postal department in the Rajya Sabha. He demanded from the central government to make the appointment process at the divisional level to improve the postal system in the hilly areas.
On Wednesday, he raised questions about the recruitment of postmasters and postmen in the Rajya Sabha. He said that many selected candidates in these recruitments did not take up deployment in the state of Uttarakhand, especially in the mountainous areas, due to geographical difficulties, dialect, adverse weather and different culture. He clarified that even today there are many remote areas in a hilly state like Uttarakhand, where the postal department plays an important role.
The kind of educational and technical qualifications required for all their posts there are with our local youth. He urged the government through the House that like before, these appointments of the postal department should be made at the cadre divisional level. By doing this, the postal system in the hilly areas will also improve and local youth will get employment opportunities.
