Heavy rain is expected in these 5 districts of Uttarakhand, yellow alert issued

According to the Meteorological Department, rain has been predicted in most areas of Uttarakhand. Due to which a drop in temperature can be seen in the mountainous areas. Also, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert and appealed to the people to be alert.
The weather will change
- According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in many districts of Uttarakhand today. While snowfall may occur in areas with an altitude of more than 3500 meters in Uttarakhand. According to the Meteorological Center Dehradun, cold winds can blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in some areas of Dehradun, Haridwar and Nainital districts today. Due to which the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these districts.
- The Meteorological Department has also predicted rain and sky lightning in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts of the state today.

Weather will increase trouble in the coming days
The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall in areas above 3500 meters altitude in Chamoli, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts of the state on March 16. In most of the districts of Uttarakhand, there may be natural activity of rain along with thunderstorm activity as well as lightning. On March 17 also, the Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorm activity along with rain in some places of the state.
Snowfall forecast in high altitude areas
According to the weather centre in Dehradun, snowfall is expected in Chamoli, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts on the 16th. Roads may get blocked due to snowfall and rain in high altitude areas. This may increase people’s problems. The weather department has asked all departments to be cautious regarding the weather alert.
