Beekeeping will be promoted in Uttarakhand, CM Dhami gave instructions for honey festival

Honey extraction work was done on Tuesday in the Chief Minister’s residence complex. In which 57 kg of honey was extracted in the first phase. This time a target has been set to extract up to 200 kg of honey. Taking this initiative as a pilot project, Chief Minister Dhami has given instructions to organize Honey Festival.

CM Dhami gave instructions for Honey Festival

Taking the bee-keeping work as a pilot project, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the Horticulture Department to organize Honey Festival. In which all the products prepared by the bee have been asked to be kept in the festival and a date for Honey Festival has also been fixed every year.

There is immense potential for beekeeping in Uttarakhand: CM

Chief Minister Dhami said that there is immense potential for beekeeping in Uttarakhand, as various types of flower species are available here, which are suitable for organic honey production. CM Dhami said that people should be trained to prepare honey with medicinal properties in the hilly areas. Also, people should be made aware to promote beekeeping.
