Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams said that the recommendation has been made on the Waqf Board 2022 Exchange Notification. Now soon the tribunal will be formed by the end of this month. After this, strict action will be started on the occupation of the properties of Waqf Board in Uttarakhand.

Rent is coming to 20-25 rupees per month

Shadab Shams told that the Uttarakhand Waqf Board has decided that the rent of Waqf properties will be increased. At this time the income of Uttarakhand Waqf Board is very low. Even today the rent of many big properties is coming in the form of 20-25 rupees per month. Which is not practical in any way and it is a matter of concern.

Income of Uttarakhand Waqf Board will increase

He said that a decision has been taken to increase the rent on the properties of Waqf Board and it will be brought close to the market value. So that, the income of Uttarakhand Waqf Board increases and the poor can be helped with this money.

Shadab Shams told that Waqf Amendment Act is being brought. So that, the poor can be given their rights. He said that today the properties of Waqf are being occupied not by the poor but by the rich. He alleged that Congress got 75 years to rule, but no reforms were made in Waqf from their side.

Leaders are occupying Waqf properties

Shadab Shams also gave information about the occupiers sitting on the Waqf properties of Uttarakhand. He told that big leaders of the opposition in Kaliyar are encroaching on the property of Waqf. Apart from this, 100 bighas of land in Bhagat Singh Colony of Dehradun and 17 bighas of land in Nanda Ki Chowki apart from Azad Colony are under occupation.

He said that hundreds of bighas of Waqf Board land have been illegally occupied across the state including Muslim Colony. Action will be taken against it from next month. It is expected that the Waqf properties will be freed from occupation soon.

All the Waqf committees have about five thousand properties

Let us tell you that currently about 2500 Waqf committees in Uttarakhand have about five thousand properties. Soon all these properties are being made online. A survey of which will also be conducted. The process of making transactions on these online is also going to start.
