Responsibility of officers who do not resolve problems on time in CM Helpline 1905 should be fixed. Show cause notices should be issued to officers at whose level more complaints are pending and strict action should also be taken in case of negligence. All department heads should ensure that all their dues are paid within one month after the retirement of the personnel. The Chief Minister gave these instructions to the officers while doing a virtual review of CM Helpline 1905 from New Delhi on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister said that the government is for the people. It is our responsibility to solve public problems quickly. Expressing displeasure over the delay in resolving public grievances in the Revenue Department, Forest Department and Education Department, the Chief Minister directed that clarification of the concerned officers should be taken in the case of cases pending for a long time. He has directed all the District Magistrates to regularly monitor all the matters related to the Revenue Department. The Chief Minister has given instructions to know the reason for receiving more complaints in the areas as well as to make further plans for proper solution. He said that everyone should ensure that the problems which can be solved at the level they can be solved. If the complaint unnecessarily reaches the higher level, the responsibility of those officers should also be fixed, who are not solving the problems at their level.

The Chief Minister said that the officers who resolve the complaints promptly in the CM Helpline should also be honored. On receiving more complaints related to drinking water, the Chief Minister said that effective efforts should be made to solve the problems of drinking water. In view of the upcoming summer, complete arrangements should be made for smooth supply of drinking water in the state. The Chief Minister has directed all the departments to run a special campaign on the cases pending for more than 180 days and resolve them.

The Chief Minister heard the public problems on the CM Helpline

The Chief Minister heard the problems of 05 people on the CM Helpline and directed the officers to resolve them as soon as possible.

Lakshmi Devi of Uttarkashi said that her father was working in the education department, after the death of her father, her mother gets pension. She is completely dependent on her mother, as per the government order, the applicant completed all the formalities for making a nominee for family pension to the District Education Officer and sent it to the Additional Director Pauri for action, the case is pending at his level. The Chief Minister has directed the Education Department to resolve the problem of Lakshmi Devi within three days.

Jagdamba Prasad Nautiyal of Rudraprayag said that he had applied for medical bill but the Education Department did not pay him in full. No action is being taken even after informing the department about this. The Chief Minister directed the Education Department to resolve this matter by examining it soon and give a show cause notice to the responsible officer.

Bahadur Singh Bisht of Nainital said that after retiring from the Horticulture Department from the post of Assistant Development Officer on 31 December 2023, he has not yet received 10 percent of GPF money. The Chief Minister directed the officials of the Horticulture and Finance Department to give the remaining amount of GPF of Bahadur Singh Bisht to him soon. He said that it is the duty of the concerned departments to ensure that the personnel get the money they deserve on time.

Jagdish Karki of Bageshwar said that in the year 2019, he had taken a loan for a tent house under the Pradhan Mantri Gramodaya Yojana, but the subsidy has not been given by the Industry Department yet. The bank is continuously deducting installments, due to which there is a problem. The Chief Minister has directed the District Magistrate Bageshwar to get the subsidy to Jagdish Karki within a week.

Virat of Dehradun said that illegal mining and cutting of trees is being done by the land mafia, due to which nature is being harmed a lot, and no action is being taken by the officials. He is also being threatened by the land mafia. The Chief Minister has directed the Forest Department to take immediate action on this matter and take action against those threatening SSP Dehradun.

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary Justice Mr. Pradeep Pant, Principal Secretary Mr. L. Fanai, Mr. R. Meenakshi Sundaram, DGP Mr. Deepam Seth, Secretaries, Heads of all departments, Vice President State Disaster Management Mr. Vinay Rohila, Principal Secretary Mr. R.K. Sudhanshu, RC Mr. Ajay Mishra and all District Magistrates were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
