Uttarakhand: Pranav Champion discharged from hospital after bail, left with a convoy of vehicles honking horns

Former MLA and BJP leader Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion, who was in jail since January 27, has been discharged from the hospital after getting bail from the court. As soon as he came out of the hospital, Champion left for his Dehradun residence. Former MLA Champion was arrested by Dehradun Police on January 27 and handed over to Haridwar Police. Champion spent about 20 days in jail. But due to ill health, he was admitted to the district hospital of Haridwar.

On Wednesday, March 19, the Roshanabad jail administration released him after reaching Haridwar District Hospital. At the same time, a huge crowd of his supporters gathered outside the hospital. Champion said that, I have full faith in the Indian judiciary. Today truth has won.

After coming out of the hospital, Champion along with his wife left for his residence in Dehradun with a convoy of vehicles, blowing the horn. Earlier, on March 18, the Haridwar District Court gave relief to Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion and granted him bail after hearing his bail petition.

Let us tell you that on 26 January, Champion and his supporters fired at Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar’s office in Roorkee. After which Champion was arrested on 27 January and sent to Roshnabad jail. After staying in jail for 20 days, Champion’s health deteriorated and he was admitted to the district hospital. Champion was undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Haridwar for 32 days.
