Uttarakhand: Dhami government approved Rs 199 crore for medical colleges

The government has taken a tough stand on the quality and timeliness of construction works in the state. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed the officials to complete all government construction works within the stipulated time and with excellent quality.

Dhami government approves Rs 199 crore for medical colleges

The CS directed that the traditional architecture and green building standards of Uttarakhand should be strictly followed in all government buildings to be constructed in the state. Along with this, a scheme for supply and installation of equipment at a cost of Rs 199.89 crore has been approved for strengthening health facilities in the medical colleges of the state.

These construction works were also given green signal

Apart from this, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has given green signal to the proposals of many development projects including Baliyanala treatment work, Yamunotri Dham flood protection, women’s hostel in Chamoli, construction of polytechnic buildings, ROB construction in Dehradun and various drinking water schemes in the EFC meeting.
