Uttarakhand: Bribe offered to the secretary to suppress the scam of crores

b
The Uttarakhand Secretariat, which is often in the news, is once again in the news these days. This time the Uttarakhand Secretariat is making headlines due to the news of a bribe being offered to a secretary.
Bribe offered to Secretary Ranjit Singha
In fact, recently a scam of crores has come to light in the name of software development in Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). When the investigation of the scam started, the company looking after the software development work came under the scanner. After which the Secretary of Technical Education Ranjit Singha has issued orders for investigation against the accused company.
Secretary became uncomfortable with the offer of bribe
The software company, troubled by the investigation, sent its representative to the Secretary in the Secretariat and offered bribe to hush up the matter. The company wanted to end the matter here by giving and taking something. During this, Secretary Ranjit Sinha, sitting in the Secretariat, not only became uncomfortable with the offer of bribe but also looked angry. The situation became such that the Secretary asked the representative of the software company to leave the office immediately. Now the secretary has ordered a high-level inquiry into the entire matter.
Such cases have come to light earlier as well
Let us tell you that such an incident may have come to light for the first time in the Uttarakhand Secretariat, but the Secretariat has always been in the news for such similar cases. Recently, Bobby Panwar, president of the Uttarakhand Berojgar Sangathan, was seen protesting at the gate of the Secretariat with his colleagues carrying briefcases full of money. Bobby Panwar alleged that officers meet only those who come with bags of money.
Such controversies that have come to the Uttarakhand Secretariat show that the image that has been created about the Secretariat and the officials sitting in it in the state cannot be called good. Even though the entry of the public and the media has been restricted in the largest government office of Uttarakhand, i.e. the Secretariat, the entry of those who come with the offer of bribe can be done without any hindrance.
