Authority will be formed for Chardham Yatra, registration figure crosses five lakh
The Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra is going to start on 30th April with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. The concerned departments are busy in its preparations. On the one hand, the registration process of devotees for the Chardham Yatra has started. On the other hand, the government is also emphasizing on improving the arrangements. Along with this, the state government is also emphasizing on developing the areas around the Chardham temple so that the devotees coming in large numbers in the initial phase of the Chardham Yatra do not have to face problems.
The process of registration of devotees for the Chardham Yatra has started from March 20. Under which more than five lakh seventeen thousand devotees have registered till March 22 evening. At the same time, on the question of preparations, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he himself is reviewing the preparations for the Chardham Yatra.
To further organize the Chardham Yatra, Chardham Yatra Authority is going to be formed. The Chardham Yatra Authority will duly conduct the Yatra. Along with this, we are also considering developing the places around the Chardham temples.
CM Dhami said that there is emphasis on improving the registration process and conducting the yatra in a better manner. In such a situation, before the start of the yatra, a department-wise review of the departments related to the Chardham Yatra will be done. These days, rapid action is being taken against illegal madrasas in the state of Uttarakhand. On the question of which, the Chief Minister said that whatever is illegal including illegal encroachment, illegal mazars will be brought in legal form. This campaign will continue till the illegal encroachment is removed.
