Uttarakhand: Relief to parents… Education department issued this toll free number for complaints against private schools

The Secondary Education Department has issued a toll free number 1800 180 4275 to settle various complaints related to private schools. Now parents will be able to register complaints related to private schools on this number. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat released the number in a program organized at the Directorate of Education and said that departmental action will be taken on the complaints received on this number.

Along with the toll free number, the Education Minister also formally launched the departmental website schooleducation.uk.gov.in. He said, the department is continuously receiving complaints from parents from across the state about the increase in fees of private schools, school dress and imposing expensive books. In view of which the department has issued a toll free number.

The minister said, parents can register their problems and complaints by calling on this number every working day from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Competent officers from the Directorate level will evaluate the registered complaints every day and send them to the officials of the concerned district for disposal. At the same time, the officials of the concerned district will resolve the received complaint and report to the Directorate.

Apart from this, a new website of the department has been launched. The special thing about the website is that it is available in both Hindi and English languages. In which all the departmental activities including the rules of all the cadres, non-government exchange, transfer act, RTE manual have been included. Not only this, the seniority list of all the cadres has also been uploaded in the website. Any person can get information about it in one click.

Secretary School Education Ravinath Raman, Director General School Education Jharna Kamthan, Director Secondary Education Dr. Mukul Sati, Director Basic Education Ajay Kumar Nautiyal, APD Samagra Shiksha Kuldeep Gairola, Joint Director Padmaendra Saklani, JP. Kala, State Portal Incharge Mukesh Bahuguna etc. were present in the meeting.
