Under the Chief Minister’s resolution dedicated to public service, District Magistrate Savin Bansal is engaged in resolving the problems of the public by conducting public hearings every Monday. In the public hearing held in Rishiparna Auditorium on Monday under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate, 174 complainants from different areas of the district presented their problems. Most of the problems were resolved on the spot by the District Magistrate and the officials were instructed to resolve the departmental level problems in a timely manner. During the public hearing, the complainants prominently raised problems related to land and domestic disputes, roads, education, drinking water, illegal mining, MDDA, Municipal Corporation, Police, Transport, Electricity, Financial Assistance, School Fee Waiver etc.
The District Magistrate directed the Revenue and Police officials to take strict action on the complaints of land occupation in Janta Darshan. On the complaints of assault on Pushpa Devi, a resident of Nathanpur, and taking over ancestral property, DM gave strict instructions to Tehsildar, SO Nehru Colony to get the land occupied as per rules on the earlier orders passed on the above mentioned matter. On the complaint of forceful occupation of land of Satpal Singh, a resident of Doiwala, by land mafia, Secretary District Legal Services Authority was expected to dispose of the case pending in ACJ III as soon as possible. A poor woman resident of Jhandu Mohalla Jhajra, whose husband has 04 shops in Chakshah Nagar, is not paying rent by the tenants and the shops are being occupied illegally. On which a letter was sent to Secretary District Legal Services Authority to provide government advocate for filing a case in civil court.
Dukhiyaari Mata, resident of Nemi Road, expressed her pain in front of District Magistrate, shedding tears, about her daughter’s higher education, on which DM took action to get the daughter admitted in a good educational institute for MCA studies through Nanda-Sunanda Yojana, for which girl Prachi Singh and her mother expressed gratitude to DM and his core team.
The complaint of VD Naithani, resident of Banjarawala, who was wandering for 10 years regarding the problem of drinking water, was resolved on the spot; the officials of Jal Sansthan assured to take action as soon as possible. Necessary instructions were given to District Program Officer to provide self-employment to woman Keshar, resident of Nalapani, who was wandering for financial assistance. 83-year-old elderly woman Savitri Devi, whose son has died, was earlier ordered by the SDM court to give maintenance of Rs. 10,000 per month to her daughter-in-law. On the complaint of the daughter-in-law regarding not giving maintenance to the elderly woman, the DM directed the SDM to comply with the earlier court orders and submit a report.
A complaint was made to the District Magistrate on the demand of constructing the wall in its original form on Chander Road in Dalanwala, on which the DM asked the reason from the MDDA officials, on which the MDDA officials asked for 1 month’s time. Strict instructions were given to the MDDA officials to complete the wall construction work of the area residents, which has been pending for years, within a month.
The villagers demanded the approval of the proposal for construction of a motor road from Jagdhan Buraila motor road Dhanav Chhani to Patangana Chhani, due to the problems being faced by the villagers in carrying their goods due to the absence of a motor road under Gram Panchayat Buraila Jagdhan. On which the District Magistrate directed the PWD to conduct a site inspection and take immediate action. On the complaint of non-construction of canal in village Munda development block Chakrata, SDM was asked to jointly investigate and submit the report. On the complaint of an old man who has been wandering for 10 years for demolition of a dilapidated building in Khudbuda, the District Magistrate directed to explain the reason for pending complaint and to solve the problem immediately.
