Uttarakhand team leaves to participate in the fourth Khelo Masters National Championship, CM Dhami wishes them all the best

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh on Wednesday flagged off the Uttarakhand team from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office to participate in the fourth Khelo Masters National Championship to be held from 11 to 13 April 2025 in New Delhi. The event will include sports like athletics, football, basketball, hockey, shooting, badminton, table tennis and volleyball.
The Chief Minister wished all the players participating in the fourth Khelo Masters National Championship. He said that many works have been done in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote sports. Sports infrastructure has developed rapidly. The Prime Minister always encourages the players. He said that efforts have been made to provide every possible facility to the players in the new sports policy to promote sports in the state. The state secured seventh position in the National Games held in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand has now made its mark as a sports land.
This year, under the leadership of Dr. Virendra Singh Rawat, Vice President of Khelo Masters Games Foundation of Uttarakhand, a team of players from Uttarakhand will participate in the fourth Masters National Games. Players from three teams of age groups of 40, 50 and above 60 in Uttarakhand’s football team and players of age group above 40 and above 70 in athletics will participate in Khelo Masters National Games 2025.
On this occasion, patrons of Khelo Masters Games Foundation of Uttarakhand Prem Singh Bisht, PC Khantwal, Subhash Arora, Vimal Singh Rawat, Sunil Sharma Anish Sharma, Vinesh Rana Sharad Aggarwal, Surendra Singh Rawat, Chhatresh Kumar Prem Prakash Purohit and other players were present.
