It is no longer in the power of the Central and State Government to control the prices of the commodities of daily use. The Leader of Opposition said that during the Uttarakhand state formation movement, the women power here had strongly opposed liquor. In the past, movements like “Nasha Nahi Rojgar Do” were carried out in the hilly areas of the state. It is an unfortunate situation that the priority of the government in that state is not education but liquor.
