Uttarakhand: Preparations to bring women forward in engineering, minister made a big announcement

Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya has called for ensuring greater participation of women in the field of engineering as well. The Cabinet Minister addressed the 11th Maha Adhiveshan of Uttarakhand Power Junior Engineer Organization at Adhikari Manoranjan Sadan in Yamuna Colony on Tuesday.
Committee formed on demand for promotion
In the program, Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya said that a committee has been formed by the government on the demand for promotion of junior engineers so that there is no technical discrepancy in their promotion. The minister said that the committee will submit its report within the stipulated time frame, after which the government will soon promote. The minister said that apart from this, the side of junior engineers will be put before Chief Minister Dhami on all demands including pension and salary discrepancy and efforts will be made to resolve their problems quickly.
Now women will also claim equality in engineering
The minister said that now women are coming forward in the field of engineering but their participation is still less. He expressed hope that soon women will also share equal share with men in the field of engineering. In the convention, the officials of the organization and others congratulated the Sports Minister for the successful organization of the 38th National Games, on which the minister said that the engineers of the Electricity Department also worked very fast and vigilantly in the 38th National Games, which helped a lot in making all the arrangements. During the convention, the new executive committee of the organization was also elected.
