A divine spiritual center was inaugurated on Thursday in Chorsa village of Nainital, which will be known as Sadhana Dhyan Upvan (Rudra Samten Gatsal). On this occasion, Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj was present as the chief guest. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the minister said that this is not just the inauguration of a building, but a celebration of the spirit of selfless service, spiritual resolve and dedication.

Recalling the contributions of Ven Kunga Rinchen (Ananda Lama), Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that he propagated Buddhism not only in India but also in many countries like Europe, Nepal, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka. Along with this, he also took the culture, peace and spirituality of Uttarakhand to global forums. Maharaj said, this center is the result of the penance and vision of a seeker.
Spiritual tourism will get a new direction: Minister
Satpal Maharaj said that Ven Rinchen started working for environmental protection since 2008, when he was the Principal of Sakya Center, Rajpur Road, Dehradun. He has been continuously organizing cleanliness campaigns, tree plantation programs and recycling workshops. The minister further said that Dubdra Samten Gatsal, Sadhana Dhyan Upvan, will not only become a center of meditation, but it will also give a new direction to the religious and spiritual tourism of Uttarakhand.
