The best fielder Glenn Phillips was injured while fielding as a substitute fielder in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He fell while trying to stop the stroke played by Ishan Kishan and then had to leave the ground due to pain. He was ruled out of IPL 2025 due to injury and has returned to New Zealand.
