Rain forecast in four districts of Uttarakhand today, hampering Kedarnath Yatra preparations

Rain will continue in many districts of Uttarakhand even today. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in three districts of Garhwal division and one district of Kumaon division. People of these districts have been asked to be cautious. On the other hand, due to continuous rain for three days, preparations for Kedarnath Dham Yatra have been hampered, while reconstruction work has also been affected.

There will be rain in 4 districts of Uttarakhand

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts in Garhwal division of Uttarakhand today. It is worth noting that these three are the districts of Chardham. Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham are in Uttarkashi. The doors of both these Dhams are opening on 30 April. Kedarnath Dham is in Rudraprayag. The doors of Baba Kedar will open on 2 May. Badrinath Dham is located in Chamoli. The doors of Badrivishal are going to open on 4 May. On the other hand, rain is expected in Pithoragarh district in Kumaon.

Preparations disrupted due to continuous rain in Kedarnath

It has been raining in Kedarnath Dham for the last three days after noon. Due to this, the local people who have reached here as well as the traders and the employees of many companies engaged in reconstruction work are facing problems. The biggest problem is to reach the Dham through the 16 km long walking route from Gaurikund amidst rain. Along with this, the people engaged in setting up tents and other works in Kedarnath Dham are facing problems.

Challenges in front of the workers engaged in reconstruction work

Along with Bud Stone engaged in reconstruction work, many other companies are also facing many challenges due to rain. There is a danger of the health of the workers deteriorating due to working in the rain. On Sunday, the weather remained clear for only one hour in Kedarnath Dham, while it rained in the morning and then it rained from afternoon till evening. There has also been light snowfall on the high peaks of the Himalayas.

Baba Kedarnath’s doors are to open on 2nd May

Let us tell you that now only 12 days are left for the Kedarnath Yatra to begin. In such a situation, there is a big challenge for the departments related to the Yatra to complete the preparations on time. Wood Stone in-charge Soban Singh Bisht said that it rained in Kedarnath throughout the day on Sunday. However, the weather remained clear for an hour. Due to rain, there are difficulties in making preparations for the Yatra.
