Ethanol will be produced from beetroot, farmers will become rich

Farmers can get double benefit by cultivating beetroot along with sugarcane. Sugar mill will buy beetroot from farmers because mill will make ethanol from beetroot. This information was given in Kisan Goshti organized on Tuesday at Ramgarh Sugar Mill.
This program was telecasted live in the entire state by National Sugar Institute NSI. Sugarcane department officials and farmers Rajkumar Yadav, Baijnath, Alok Trivedi, Guddu Singh, Rinkal from all districts of the state joined live and got information about beetroot intercropping.
Director of National Sugar Institute NSI Dr. Seema established direct communication with all the farmers and sugarcane department officials connected in the state level live training and answered their questions. Farmers were also given detailed information about beetroot intercropping.
Chief Guest Additional Sugarcane Commissioner VK Shukla, Deputy Sugarcane Commissioner Dr. RD Dwivedi, Director of National Sugar Institute NSI Dr. Seema, District Sugarcane Officer Ratneshwar Tripathi observed the mixed cropping of beetroot along with the sugarcane being cultivated in the Ramgarh mill premises.
U.K. Pathak, General Manager Sugarcane of Ramgarh Sugar Mill, elaborated on how farmers can increase their income through mixed cropping. Farmers saw the live demo of the beetroot plot. On this occasion, Dhampur Bio Organic Limited Group Head Sanjay Sharma, SPO Sitapur Poonam Yadav, SCDI Sachchidanand Singh and secretaries of cooperative sugarcane development committees were present.
