Haj pilgrims selected for Haj Yatra 2025 will be vaccinated by the Uttarakhand State Haj Committee. The Deputy Secretary of Minority Welfare has asked the Health Department to set up camps by scheduling vaccination programs at all the sites in the state. In which instructions have been given to the concerned medical staff for vaccination. Haj pilgrims are to be vaccinated against meningitis meningococcal, seasonal influenza vaccines and OPV.

924 pilgrims will go on Haj pilgrimage from Uttarakhand

Actually, 924 people have been selected from Uttarakhand to go on Haj pilgrimage this year. In such a situation, they have to be vaccinated. Under the vaccination program, vaccination will be done on May 3 for 202 Haj applicants from Jaspur, Kashipur and Bajpur areas of Udham Singh Nagar district at Hotel Corbett on Moradabad Road.

Hajj pilgrims from Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar and Champawat will be vaccinated here

Similarly, 30 Hajj applicants from Ramnagar in Nainital will be vaccinated on May 3 at Idgah, Mohalla Khatari (Ramnagar). 63 Hajj applicants from Haldwani, Almora, Bageshwar and Champawat in Nainital will be vaccinated on May 4 at Madrasa Ishaatul Haq, Kidwai Nagar (Haldwani).

Hajj pilgrims from Haridwar, Pauri and Dehradun districts will be vaccinated here

Apart from this, 325 Hajj applicants from Haridwar and Pauri districts will be vaccinated on March 6 at Hajj House, Piran Kaliyar (Roorkee). Whereas, 304 Hajj applicants from Dehradun district will be vaccinated on May 7 at Madrasa Jamia Ul Uloom, Majra (Dehradun).

Female health workers will be deployed for vaccination of female Haj pilgrims

Female health workers will also be deployed in these camps to vaccinate female Haj pilgrims. The Executive Officer of the State Haj Committee has directed the Chief Medical Officers of the respective districts to administer vaccines keeping in mind the number of Haj pilgrims selected in all the camps.

Along with this, the team of doctors has been asked to reach the designated camps with vaccination, medical officer’s seal on the health card, batch number of the vaccine and expiry seal. Under which the doctor and nursing staff will have to reach on time.
