Uttarakhand: Allegations against the administration for widening the road from Kusumkheda to Lamachaur in Haldwani

Regarding road widening in Haldwani, from Kusumkheda to Lamachaur, now the local people have accused the administration of arbitrariness. Today, the people of Kusumkheda area met SDM Rahul Shah against the encroachment being demolished by the administration for road widening in Haldwani. During this, the people of the area told that road widening is a good initiative but it is very important to do it by taking the people of the area into confidence.

The administration and PWD have measured up to 40 feet from the center point of the road, whereas earlier this measurement was up to 35 feet, in such a situation, the boundary of the houses of the people of all those areas is coming in the road widening, in such a situation, a demand has been made to the department to do the measurement again. Apart from this, people have accused the administration of breaking the encroachment directly by using JCB and breaking it whenever they want without satisfying the people up to 12 meters. The same SDM Rahul Shah said that the department has measured 12 meters from the center point of the road, all the encroachments coming in it will be demolished.
