Uttarakhand: Scam in municipal corporation land, senior officials suspended, investigation officer reached Haridwar

Municipal corporation officials suspended

On the orders of Additional Secretary Gaurav of Urban Development Department, four officers including Assistant Municipal Commissioner in-charge Ravindra Kumar Dayal have been suspended with immediate effect. Not only this, investigation officer Ranveer Singh Chauhan himself has reached Haridwar to investigate the matter. According to sources, the responsible officers themselves are under suspicion in the purchase and sale of the land of the Municipal Corporation, in which irregularities have come to the fore.

There are allegations of manipulation in the registry and records of government land

It is alleged that the property of the Municipal Corporation was transferred to private hands by manipulating the registry and records of the land. Executive Engineer in charge Anand Singh Mishravan, Tax and Revenue Superintendent Laxmikant Bhatt and Junior Engineer Dinesh Chandra Kandpal have been suspended after being found guilty prima facie. Senior Finance Officer Nikita Bisht has been issued a show cause notice and asked to reply within 15 days.

Disciplinary action being taken against officers
