Continuous efforts are being made by the state government and administration to make the Kedarnath Dham Yatra successful and well organized. Ensuring cleanliness on the travel route is the first responsibility of the government and administration. For this, a special plan has been prepared by the administration this time. As soon as the border of Rudraprayag starts, seven sectors have been divided from Sirobgad to Sonprayag, under which cleanliness is being ensured only on the road.

District Development Officer Anita Panwar said that new experiments are being done continuously under the direction of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to make the travel experience of devotees coming from the country and abroad on Kedarnath Dham Yatra pleasant and memorable. With the aim of making the Yatra route clean and green, this year responsibility has been fixed from the beginning of the district border to Kedarpuri to ensure cleanliness on the Yatra route.

Seven sectors have been created from Sirobgad to Sonprayag to ensure cleanliness of the road. The responsibility of each sector has been given to the high officials of the district. Anita Panwar said that our effort is to ensure cleanliness on the route 24 hours a day, for this, real time monitoring of all the officials is also being done. GPS system has been installed in all the vehicles. Also, a WhatsApp group has also been created through which updates are being taken continuously.

Devotees got convenience from smart toilets in the Dham

Devotees have got great relief from the newly built smart toilets in Kedarnath Dham. Hot water facility is also available for bathing in the smart toilets being operated with the cooperation of Sulabh International. On the instructions of the district administration, Sulabh International has also increased the number of employees to maintain the cleanliness system in the walking path and temple premises.

Sulabh International’s regional manager Dhananjay Pathak said that this year about 550 environment friends will ensure cleanliness in Kedarnath Dham. Let us tell you that about 50 additional employees have been deployed for cleaning as compared to last year. At the same time, 50 additional new smart toilets are also almost ready in the Dham. Their use will start by the end of May.
