Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday participated in a grand road show and Jan Samvad program in Libbarheri village of Haridwar and not only communicated directly with the public, but also gave a special message to the farmers by driving a tractor himself.
CM Dhami reached among the farmers by driving a tractor
When the Chief Minister comes down from the traditional speech stage and takes over the steering of the tractor, it becomes not just symbolism but a living expression of respect for the farmers. A crowd of women, youth and elders witnessed this unique moment. CM Dhami won the hearts of the people by saying that farmers are our food providers, and this tractor is not just a vehicle, it is my salute to their hard work.
CM Dhami called UCC a law of equality
One of the main objectives of the program was also to communicate directly with the public on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). CM Dhami clearly said, UCC is not against any religion or class. This is a big step towards equality, justice and transparency. Citing the dreams of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, he said that this law ensures equal rights to every citizen and will give a new social direction to the state.
CM gave information about government schemes
While addressing the public meeting, the CM also gave information about the major schemes of the state government, which include training of farmers in modern agricultural techniques, startup schemes for youth, empowerment of irrigation and health services. The CM said that our goal is not just to develop, but to take development to every village and every person.
