Uttarakhand: Engineers should complete development plans in a timely manner – Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami called upon the engineers working in all the departments of the state that every development scheme of the state should be completed on time and its 100% benefit should reach the common people. Engineers are the Vishwakarma of modern times who are making life simple, easy and safe. After listening to the 23-point demand in the 12th biennial Mahaadhiveshan of Uttarakhand Diploma Engineers Federation on Friday, the Chief Minister also said that today we will not make two or three announcements, but after positively brainstorming the entire demand letter, the association will try to fulfill every legitimate demand. Today, the second day of the convention was organized with great simplicity at the Himalayan Cultural Center located at Nimbuwala in Garhi Cantt due to the Ahmedabad plane crash.

All the officers and diploma engineers along with the Chief Minister observed two minutes of silence and paid tribute to the victims of the accident. The Chief Minister said that due to the accident, he had postponed most of his programs. But due to hundreds of people coming from all over the state to the federation, he decided to come here. He said that while doctors work to save lives, teachers work to improve lives, engineers make life simple, easy and safe. He said that ever since he has got the responsibility of the Chief Servant of the state, he has been trying to solve every problem. Many demands of the engineers have been fulfilled earlier also. Referring to his historic decisions like Uniform Civil Code, Anti-Copying Law, Anti-Forced Conversion Law etc., the Chief Minister said that today Uttarakhand is rapidly moving towards joining the leading states of the country. The decisions of the state are also becoming an inspiration for other states. Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan congratulated the engineers on the convention and appealed to them to pay special attention to the continuous inspection of the construction site and quality. He said that by taking precautions at the time of creation, the construction of the plan also becomes better. The Chief Secretary advised that everyone should also keep updating their knowledge and skills according to the time. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also released the book of the Sangh. General Secretary Mukesh Raturi read the honor letter of the CM and the demand letter of the Sangh. On this occasion, Union President SS Chauhan, State Employees Council President Arun Pandey, General Secretary Shakti Bhatt, PC Joshi, Harish Nautiyal, Drivers Union President Sabar Singh, PS Rawat, Mukesh Bahuguna from Ministerial Association, VS Ragand, VD Joshi, Bharat Singh Dangi etc were present.
