Fire engulfs 67-storey building, 3820 people rescued, video goes viral

A massive fire broke out in a 67-storey building in Marina, Dubai city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Dubai Media Office (DMO) gave this information on Saturday. According to DMO, all 3,820 people living in 764 apartments of Marina Pinnacle were evacuated safely after the fire broke out in the building late Friday night.

A video of the fire in the 67-storey building has also surfaced. It shows that the fire is spreading from the bottom to the top of the building. A black cloud of smoke is rising from the building. Everyone who saw the fire in the building was stunned.

Fire brought under control after 6 hours

According to the report of Khaleej Times newspaper, Dubai Civil Defence teams brought the fire in the building under control after six hours of hard work. DMO said that the officials are working closely with the developer of the building to arrange temporary accommodation for the affected people and are prioritizing their safety and relief work.

Let us tell you that even before this, Marina Pinnacle, also known as Tiger Tower, has caught fire. In May 2015, a kitchen fire sparked a blaze on the 47th floor that spread to the 48th floor before being brought under control by Dubai Civil Defence, according to the Khaleej Times.
