Uttarakhand: CM Dhami strict after Kedarnath Gaurikund heli crash, heli service for Chardham will remain closed even today, CM gave instructions to establish ‘Command and Coordination Center’

Orders have been given to investigate the Gaurikund helicopter accident in Kedarnath. Apart from this, the heli service will remain completely closed even today. Dhami government has come into action after this. The CM has directed that the flying experiences of all the heli operators and pilots engaged in Chardham will be investigated in the high Himalayan regions. The heli service will be resumed only after a meeting with all the heli operators.
Now a common ‘Command and Coordination Center’ will be established in Dehradun for better coordination and safe operation of heli flights in Uttarakhand. In which officials of DGCA, Disaster Department, Civil Aviation, UKADA, Heli Operator Company will be deployed. During this, CM Dhami also asked to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of Secretary Home. In which representatives of DGCA, UCADA, Civil Aviation Department, ATC will be members. This committee will draft the standard operating manual keeping public safety as a priority.
