Iran’s counter attack
In retaliation to this attack by Israel, Iran attacked Israel with about 00-200 ballistic missiles and drones. Many of these were successful in damaging Israel’s famous defense system Iron Dome. Due to which many buildings collapsed in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Scientific institute targeted
According to the Tehran Times, on Monday morning, Iran fired missiles at the occupied places Haifa, Kiryat Gat, Negev desert and Dimona complex. After which a fire broke out at the Haifa port. Along with this, Weizmann Science Institute was also attacked. Along with this, more than 150 military and intelligence bases were also targeted.
For this attack, the Iranian army used “Shahed Haj Qasim” missiles. Their weight was between 660 to 1540 pounds. However, many missiles were destroyed by the Israeli defense system. Even after this, many missiles managed to reach military bases.
