Uttarakhand: Panchayat elections 2025 – More than 3000 objections settled, final publication of reservation will be released today

Preparations for the three-tier panchayat elections in Uttarakhand have intensified. More than 3000 objections received from across the state on the panchayat reservation proposal have been settled. Now today, on Wednesday, the final publication of the reservation status in the village, area and district panchayats will be done, which will make the reservation status clear.
Settlement of more than 3000 objections
According to sources, the State Election Commission can issue the notification for panchayat elections tomorrow i.e. on March 19. With this, the formal process of panchayat elections will also begin. Let us tell you that a large number of objections were registered in 12 districts of the state. Out of these, 302 objections have been received from Dehradun, 294 in Almora, 277 in Pithoragarh.
Final publication of reservation will be released today
Apart from this, 337 objections were received in Champawat district, 354 in Pauri, 90 in Rudraprayag, 213 in Chamoli, 283 in Uttarkashi and 297 in Tehri district. The commission has taken the final decision after considering all these in detail. With the publication of the reservation list, the excitement regarding the panchayat elections has increased.
