Uttarakhand: Preparations to give economic strength to women are in full swing, Ganesh Joshi gave these instructions in the review meeting

Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi reviewed the Lakhpati Didi Yojana and House of Himalaya on Wednesday. The minister said that the rural women of Uttarakhand are now not only self-reliant, but are also becoming economically prosperous.

Empowerment of women is important: Minister
The minister said that empowerment of women is necessary to strengthen India’s economy. In accordance with the vision of PM Modi, this work is progressing strongly under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana. The minister said that the work of making Lakhpati Didi is going on continuously in Uttarakhand. The target of 1.65 lakh has been achieved. 1.50 lakh more will be made.

164 outlets opened on Chardham Yatra routes
Minister Ganesh Joshi also directed to give priority to the work of giving employment training to women of self-help groups. The minister said that a total of 164 outlets have been opened on the Chardham Yatra routes so far. The minister said that the process of opening outlets on Adi Kailash Marg should also be completed soon.

Instructions given to speed up marketing under House of Himalaya
Minister Ganesh Joshi instructed the officials to speed up marketing under House of Himalaya. The minister said that talks should be held with famous hotels of Mussoorie, Nainital and New Delhi to set up carts, so that people in the country and abroad can get a taste of Uttarakhand’s products.
