The courage of the miscreants is increasing in Haldwani. Late last evening, some unknown youths opened fire on the people in a car near Birla School. One person is said to be injured due to bullet shot. While two youths were injured by unknown miscreants with sticks. The firing created panic in the area.

The incident took place on Haldupokhara Road near Birla School on Monday evening. It is being told that some miscreants opened fire on the youths sitting in the car. A youth named Bhaskar Bora got shot in the firing. While the miscreants injured other youths with sticks. They have been identified as Harish Singh Mehra and Ganesh Darmwal. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
Three youths in the car injured
It is being told that all the three youths are residents of Chandni Chowk, Ghuddaura area of Haldwani Kotwali area. According to eyewitnesses, a group of 20 to 25 youths came and stopped the youths in the car. After which they first beat the two youths in the car with sticks. After that they fired and fled from the spot. The attackers also damaged the car. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot.
Police engaged in investigation of the accused
The injured have been sent to Sushila Tiwari Hospital. Seeing Bhaskar’s condition critical, he has been referred to a higher center. While the other two youths are being treated in Haldwani itself. The police is raiding possible places in search of the attackers. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to this shootout. SP City Prakash Chandra says that the accused will be arrested soon. The reason for the incident has not been revealed yet.
