Uttarakhand: BJP leader’s love affair with actress is in news, but party issues notice for violating UCC norms

Former Jwalapur MLA and senior BJP leader Suresh Rathore publicly made fun of UCC. He fell in love with a woman despite having a first wife and family and later married her. All this happened in Saharanpur, now the party has taken cognizance of it and has served him a notice and asked for a reply in seven days.

There has been a dispute between the former MLA and actress Urmila Sanawar on social media for a long time. Both of them also filed cases against each other. Now a few days ago in Saharanpur, the former MLA married her and gave her the status of a second wife. When the video of this incident went viral, the party realized that its image was being tarnished. Due to which the top leadership has issued a notice to the former MLA.

On the instructions of state president Mahendra Bhatt, state general secretary Rajendra Bisht has sent a notice to Suresh Rathore. It has been said in it that for a long time his indecent behavior is being seen through media and social media. Due to this the image of the party is getting tarnished. These activities come under the purview of indiscipline of the party. He has been directed to reply to the office in writing within seven days.
