Rescue operation has started once again in search of the devotees missing in the landslide on Yamunotri Dham footpath on Monday evening. The NDRF team is searching for the missing passengers with the help of sniffer dogs in the landslide area.

On the third day of the sliding accident near Nau Kanchi on Yamunotri Dham footpath, there is no trace of the two devotees who went missing. Let us tell you that on June 23 also, rescue was carried out in search of the missing people. But till evening, due to no clue and rain, the rescue operation was stopped. After which relief and rescue work has started once again.
DM monitoring the rescue operation
Uttarkashi DM Prashant Arya is continuously monitoring the rescue operation. On Wednesday morning, the DM reached the smart control room of the district headquarters. There he took an update on the rescue operation on the Yamunotri Yatra route. He also gave instructions to speed up the rescue operations. The DM also gave instructions to continuously monitor the traffic system on the Chardham Yatra route.
