Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari clarified on this news and said that no such decision has been taken. The exemption for using national highways on two-wheelers continues as before. Let us tell you that road tax is collected from the owners of two-wheelers at the same time. This is the reason why toll plazas are not collected on them on national highways.
