The mistake made by Kabaddi player Brijesh Solanki was that he did not get the rabies injection after the puppy bit him. Due to which his condition started deteriorating. When the symptoms of rabies started appearing on the player, the doctors also gave up. The player died while being brought back to the village.

Let us tell you that in the month of March this year, Brijesh had taken out a puppy that had fallen in the drain. During this, the puppy bit Brijesh’s right hand finger. Brijesh ignored it thinking it to be a normal injury. Also, he did not get an anti-rabies injection.
Symptoms of rabies were seen
On 26 June, when he woke up in the morning, his right hand became numb. By afternoon, his whole body started becoming numb. After which the family took him to the hospital. Where the doctors gave up after seeing the symptoms of rabies. After which the family took him to the Ayurvedic Medicine Center in Mathura.

He got relief after taking the medicine but later his health started deteriorating. After which he was taken to GTB Hospital in Delhi. There also the doctors confirmed rabies. On the morning of 27 June, the family members were bringing Brijesh to the village. He died on the way.
Brijesh had won the gold medal
Let us tell you that in February this year, Brijesh had won the gold medal in the state level competition. Along with this, he has also won medals among other participants. He was preparing for Pro Kabaddi League 2026.
